ZenSteel - Kalimba

ZenSteel is a complete and evolved musical instrument; it is a portal to access the very substance of the soul through sounds. The sweet and delicate sound of stainless steel acquires warmth and body thanks to the beech body.The placement of the keys is unconventional, but follows the natural order of tones and semitones that you can find on other instruments, such as guitars and piano. This unusual choice, not found in other instruments, makes ZenSteel more comfortable to play and more versatile in performing a wide variety of playing styles.

Each ZenSteel is milled by hand, drilled to guarantee good resonance and volume, and finally assembled and adjusted to obtain an instrument that is comfortable to hold. The instrument comes with a tuning hammer: all it takes is a smartphone app, and the perfect sound of ZenSteel will accompany you for decades.

ZenSteel by ZenWoood is a handmade product and, therefore, unique. Any slight discrepancies are an integral part of the construction process, which aims to minimise the environmental footprint of each product by producing minimal wood waste while making the usage of power tools more efficient.
